The German Martor's Secunorm Profi 40 is the same safety knife as the Secunorm Profi 25 but with extra extended blade length (up to 40 mm or 1.6"). It is a unique solution for safely slitting paper and plastic bags.

Developed for cutting up to 3-ply, bagged goods, wrapping, shrink and stretch foil, foam, polystyrene.

A solid Aluminum body is equipped with a spring-loaded Blade Retract System (DRS) to protect against any uncontrolled movement when the slider is NOT in the forward position. The blade is easy to change without any extra tools. This model comes standard with Deep Cut Blade M7940.
The three golden rules for using Spring Loaded Safety Knives:
1 – Expose the blade by pushing the slider
2 – Push the blade to the cutting material
3 - Release the slider (thumbs off)
